About the Artist
Albert Williams was born in Sussex in 1922. Both his father and grandfather were artists and, having studied painting with them, Albert Williams attended art schools in London and Paris. He studied figure and portrait painting under the late Louis Ginnett as well as landscape and water-colour painting under the late Charles Knight. He has specialized in floral painting for many years, mostly working in oil. At all times he takes his compositions directly from nature, each flower being a portrait of an individual bloom that is incorporated into the final composition.

About the Oil Painting
Each oil painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and is done per order specifically for the customer. The Watermark in the center of the images will not appear on final art.

About the Frames
These masterpiece frames are made of a cast resin and wood, and then covered with a stunning finish. You can see this outer layer on the side views of the frames. Each frame will typically have a depth of 4" - 5".
