Olde London Dresser (Mirror extra)

The dramatic arched bonnet top of the Olde London Crowned Mirror is embellished with a sculptural carved shell and scroll motif and inset with beautifully finished figured veneers. Other rich details include canted pilasters featuring traditional acanthus carvings, bead and bobbin accent molding, burnished edges and hand-rubbed fronts, fitted back panels, and one inch-thick beveled glass mirror. The frames satiny medium cherry finish is in a rich, warm pomegranate shade that matches the rest of the collection and showcases the beauty of the wood.

As practical as it is beautiful, the elegantly contoured nine-drawer Olde London Drawer Dresser features felt lining on the top drawers and aromatic cedar lining on the bottom drawers. A inlaid sunburst design on the dressers top, executed in cathedral cherry and exotic avodire veneers, is one of the handsome design signatures of the Old World Collection. The sunburst is set off with a fine herringbone inlaid border and the entire piece is richly embellished with carving in the classical tradition. The dresser is finished in a rich and warm pomegranate shade that has both depth and clarity to allow the natural beauty of the wood graining to shine through. Burnished edges, hand rubbed fronts and machine rubbed tops reinforce the Old London feeling of this collection.
