For over a century and a half, the medallion back sofa has been the leading symbol of Victorian elegance. This authentic solid mahogany reproduction captures the original, down to the last graceful curve. The top crest is adorned with hand-carved roses and leaves. More roses can be found where the arches intersect. Additional carvings adorn the front of the arms and legs. The design is repeated on the Victorian lady and gent's chairs. The sofa is upholstered in a tapestry with beige background and bouquets of roses in the foreground. Chairs are covered in traditional dusty plum-rose velvet.
