Renaissance Rose Table Lamp
Here's a lamp that brings back all the charm of 1890. When whale oil lamps were replaced by electrical lamps, it was necessary to reduce the glare of the newly invented light bulb. Designers of the period, such as Louis Comfort Tiffany, used stained glass to produce creations that were not just functional lamps but masterpieces of art.
The originals are now extremely rare. But our reproductions, using the same high quality materials, allow Victorian furniture collectors to enjoy these beautiful fixtures at a fraction of what an antique would cost.
The Renaissance Rose Table Lamp features genuine stained glass pieces which shine like jewels when the lamp is turned on. The rose-and-leaf design is repeated five times on the shade. The antique brass base is modeled after an ancient Roman jar. This lamp takes two 60 watt bulbs and has separate pull chain switches.
