Turin Dining Room

Victorians were particularly fond of the Italianate style in both architecture and interior design. Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, no less, chose the Italianate style for the rebuilding of Osborne House on the Isle of Wight. And Victorian aristocrats made frequent forays to Venice, Florence and Turin to hunt for pictures, textiles and elaborately carved furniture. Magnolia Hall is pleased to offer a luxurious collection that faithfully incorporates the great design features of the Italian influence. Note the graceful bomb curves and the open carved crown molding of the china cabinet and sideboard. Note also the carved legs of the chairs and table. Chairs are solid hardwood. Table and cabinets are crafted in select hardwood solids and veneers. All pieces are given a hand-rubbed walnut finish. All drawers are dovetailed. Glass doors are beveled. Cabinet features three-way touch lighting.
